The B.Tech in Applied Electronics & Instrumentation Engineering (AEIE) is an interdisciplinary branch of engineering that bridges core electronic design with real-time measurement, process monitoring, and industrial automation. AEIE specializes in how physical quantities—such as temperature, pressure, flow, level, strain, and chemical composition—are accurately sensed, converted into electronic signals, processed, and controlled in real-time. Students learn to design, calibrate, and program automated control systems using Sensors, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Distributed Control Systems (DCS), and Microcontrollers.
