The Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) is a specialized 2-year postgraduate degree designed to train physiotherapists in advanced clinical assessment, evidence-based manual techniques, therapeutic biomechanics, and specialized patient rehabilitation. While a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) covers general physical therapy protocols, bedside care, and basic electrotherapy, the MPT program provides domain-specific clinical mastery. It trains practitioners to independently evaluate, diagnose, and treat complex musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and sports-related impairments without relying solely on physician referrals. MPT postgraduates can work as clinical specialists, lead hospital rehab units, join national sports teams, set up private practices, or hold university faculty positions.
